The only difference between the one with the bug and the fixed one is kind of an production batch number on the backside of the cartridge. AmethystViper Posted January 24, 2023 (edited) I just logged into my GOG account after a while from not being able to use the PC due to surgery I had recently (and still in recovery) and I saw an update pop-up for DOOM I and II Enhanced on my Galaxy client. For some reason the January 23 Update patch notes isn't viewable on my end, not on the client or anywhere else on GOG's website, and not even Steam got this update like the other updates released, so does anyone know what this patch fixed? The gaps between add on releases can be months. A lot a wads can’t be added because rights have to be given from the content creators and only one member of id works on the port. I’d love to see something like Plutonia 2, Sunder or Sunlust to be added but I doubt it’ll get any of those. It's speculation, but it's been a while since Doom or Quake updated and the post-launch maintenance on those were Literally Just Sponge, so he might have been assigned to something else. I have a Galaxy S21 Ultra on Android 13 and the game seems to have a lack of any kinda of compatibility even though I paid for and used it on earlier versions. Kyle07 Posted May 5, 2023 (edited) I saw this once for the Tomb Raider II Android port and thought, okay its obviously not supported anymore. But I think it is even taken of from the digital stores for Android and iOS, so... I don't know, can it just be that the developers need to catch up to keep doom compatible with all android versions? Don't know how this works. In general its sad that Android does not have backwards compatibility. But I think it could also be an error from the store itself. I remember the same message for my Samsung Galaxy S4 and then I just downloaded the desired APK somewhere elsewhere and it worked. So it can be that the store makes wrong decisions and you have to suffer because of that. Edit: Need to correct myself, it was TR1 which was never supported for my Galaxy S4 by the store. I'm not quite sure what you mean, but if I'm understanding you correctly, all you have to do is rename the file to anything you want so long as it ends in .wad. Tried out an Setup today for Sake of trying out and i could play Quake with Mouse/Keyboard, but Doom did only recognize the Keyboard.
