Dumb question from wannabe Doom-tuber

0kay, so I'm working on a Doom video at the moment and need background footage. My idea was to just play some wad and record some parts of my playthrough. Does anyone have any wads that would make for good background footage (and also not make me die 1000 times)? If so, it'd definitely be helpful.

What kind of footage are you looking for? The wad playing in background kinda depends on what the video is about. Doesn't really make sense to ask for recommendations when you give no specifics at all.

 

But to answer your question, here's some random wads from the top of my head. In no order and for no reason. Going Down, BTSX, Ancient Aliens, Auger;Zenith, Rush, Jade Earth. Throw 1d6 to choose.

So, the vid is about parts of Doomguy's character that most new-comers overlook. So for background footage, I'm looking for something with lotsa demons to kill. Hope that narrows it down.

ok I suppose I can give a serious suggestion too: Lunatic. It's short (five maps), action-packed and the final map will deliver on your request for "lotsa demons to kill"
