ultimate doom builder not show yellow selection glow

so i decided to get back in to trying to make doom mods when out of nowhere the yellow glow seems to go missing. Ya know the one that's always there when moving the floor or ceiling it's gone for some reason and i need to know what did i  break in the software that a may fix it

 Not really out of nowhere. :-)

The yellow glow is called highlighting, which can be disabled or enabled by pressing the key H.
