So, turns out "Bellatrix: Tales of Orionis" works like a charm on the Unity port.

Justed played it 'out of the box'

I attempted to convert Jakub Majewski's console conversions to vanilla/unity by removing all BOOM stuff but i'm still getting crashes on a few maps. can anyone more experienced look into this? Link here.

I cannot get these to work. Downloading official addons, they are placed into "...\...\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM Classic\WADs" where I would expect them. I have subfolders 1 to 21 there. None contain WADs (at least officially), just an untyped file like the file "3" in the folder "3" which is No rest for the Living, as well as some metadata and images.

Downloading e.g. DTWiD Lost Episodes from here and placing it into "...\...\Saved Games\id Software\DOOM Classic\WADs" does not have the effect to making DTWiD available ingame.

I wonder if Doom Enhanced was updated at some point and this functionality has changed...

Copy only the WAD. Works. Thank you.

Did they already include widescreen assets?

In general, my thanks for all your work. I purchased Doom 1 Enhanced specifically for its hassle-free splitscreen and really love the added content and any additional WADs for that one will be greatly appreciated. A real shame we will never get any of the Smooth Doom variants into this one...
