Help with dialogue glitch that happens to some

Szuran

Question

Hi, I'm in a dire need of help. Some people experience a dialogue glitch like the 2nd picture. I can't reproduce it on 2 PCs, in different GZDoom versions, on different resolutions and settings. I also know that some don't get this glitch at all. Do you know what could be the reason?

It works fine with my older builds but the problem is that their custom conversation menu is written exactly the same. It's not a matter of the dialogue script, most likely, because it's also the same in different builds. So it's a global problem.

If someone's willing to help figure this out, I'll be glad to share builds and take advice.

I'm not a modder, but I'd suggest you ask this question on zdoom forum. Judging by input data, I have no idea what the root cause can be.

It might be some kind of an old bug when GZDoom accidentally fails to construct custom Strife dialogue areas right and/or apply indents and spacing.

It was a problem with the font files, I've got help, for which I am very grateful. :)
