Latency optimization - Sekaiju

I guess this also counts as editing, in a way...

Anyone's got Sekaiju-specific tips on how to reduce MIDI controller input latency? It's barely a handful of ms but it's driving me nuts.

Controller is a Q mini, machine is your average gaming PC, running no filters or anything, just input in out. Not the best rig, I know, but I'm sure something can be done.

Thanks!

What sound card are you using? Also, are you using asio4all?

I had some trouble with Sekaiju, although latency was not an issue. Have you tried using a standard DAW to see if this is Sekaiju-specific?

Well, color me embarassed - turns out it wasn't actually a problem of latency, but velocity; I mistook response time for latency, and adjusting the former completely removed the problem. Go me.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Asio4all, great little tool!

Where do I find that option to change from card to asio? I have the same problem but I can't find it.
