Thelokk Posted October 23, 2022 I guess this also counts as editing, in a way... Anyone's got Sekaiju-specific tips on how to reduce MIDI controller input latency? It's barely a handful of ms but it's driving me nuts. Controller is a Q mini, machine is your average gaming PC, running no filters or anything, just input in out. Not the best rig, I know, but I'm sure something can be done. Thanks! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
TheMagicMushroomMan Posted October 23, 2022 (edited) What sound card are you using? Also, are you using asio4all? I had some trouble with Sekaiju, although latency was not an issue. Have you tried using a standard DAW to see if this is Sekaiju-specific? Edited October 23, 2022 by TheMagicMushroomMan 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Well, color me embarassed - turns out it wasn't actually a problem of latency, but velocity; I mistook response time for latency, and adjusting the former completely removed the problem. Go me. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Asio4all, great little tool! Edited October 23, 2022 by Thelokk 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
Perrito Posted May 29, 2023 Where do I find that option to change from card to asio? I have the same problem but I can't find it. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
