Christmas Bash 2.1 (Patched!)
by Abunchoftrash, basedSkeleton, Korp, and Fhuzzy (also Fiendzy for the 5th Deathmatch map)

 

Hey Doomers! I don't know if you've noticed, but GZDoom is pretty dang powerful.
One thing people seem not to have done with this power is a proper, GZDoom enhanced Christmas mod
Back in 2021, I observed this issue and thought "dude, I should make one"

Christmas Bash 1.1 kinda, uh...stank. In fact, it stank bad.

However, I would now like to introduce Christmas Bash 2.1!
now with 2000% less suckiness!

Details:
-7 campaign maps, 5 deathmatch maps, 12 total
-full custom arsenal
-12 individual music tracks
-improved decals
-enhanced sounds
-quick melee bound to Q
-Christmas Cheer

The story? Glad you asked!

The date is December 24th. On a freezing winter night you sit in your bed, with your pistol cocked. Krampus' forces lurk outside, unaware of your presence.
You step unto the cold outside your log cabin and prepare for a long fight. Krampus will die, and if it must be at your hands, so be it...

I just had to shovel about a foot of snow so I am feeling in a "Christmas" mood, I will check this one out! Looks like it is pending on ModDB currently.

you fight! and once you've killed enough enemies on that level of the tree, the doors open to the next level of the tree

For that you can, actually, force player to do this via ol'good GR trigger.

And if maps in "DiH" or "UDMF", then you can use ACS magic to alert them up.
