It's limit removing and those that use a Boom-friendly port will see the animated textures. I used ANIMDEFS and as far as I can tell, everything checks out, and yet only some of the textures animate. TimeOfDeath666 Posted February 10, 2023 Are you talking about the switch texture by the starting door that isn't animating in your map? Remove the lower texture on linedef 7658 and it will animate fine, and on the other side of the door it should be linedef 7524 that has the switch action (not 7528) if you want it to animate. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I noticed while playing that in Choco Doom, ZDoom, and GZDoom, SCAN2_1 thru SCAN2_8; and DNSCRN9 thru DNSCRN12 don't animate. @Doomy__Doom mentioned ANIMATED is how I should approach the lump instead of ANIMDEFS, but I'm not sure how to change it. TimeOfDeath666 Posted February 12, 2023 Adding the boom ANIMATED and SWITCHES lumps is easy in Slade, like Doomy__Doom said just go "Archive -> New -> New ANIMATED" or "Archive -> New -> New SWITCHES", and add your textures to the tables like in ANIMDEFS.
