Captain POLAND Posted December 23, 2022 I once saw someone comment on the name of that webcomic with "sounds like the hardest Doom WAD ever" 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Endless Posted December 23, 2022 Since Doom is such a fast paced, ultra violent game, let's say I kill an average of 10 demons per minute, every 60 minutes that's 600 demons. I have around 678 hours of Doom play time, so with my incredible 1st grade math, that's 406,800 demons. That's without counting Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Doom 64, Doom 3, Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal. Just Doom 2 alone. Doom Retro counts your stats, and since I started using it last year, it says I have 170,908 demon kills. Not bad! 2 hours ago, Maximum Matt said: Is there any application out there that can get a count of the number of enemies in a collection of wads? I'd love to know the exact number of enemies in Maximum Doom. Because I'm weird like that Doom Launcher does, only problem is that it is a little bit taxing if you have low end hardware, and it will only start counting the moment you installed the launcher. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
DannyMan Posted December 23, 2022 Since I was too focused on killing mutants and haywire machines alike, I never killed a single demon. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Murdoch Posted December 23, 2022 I tried to count but ran out of fingers and toes. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Chezza Posted December 23, 2022 I forgot to start counting when I first booted up Doom in the 90s, damn! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Remilia Scarlet Posted December 23, 2022 Umm, a lot. Does this mean we're all some sort of divine punishment for demons? Where we summon new ones just so we can mercilessly mow them down again and again? And then those of us who map do so within our own macabre pits and temples built solely for the killing of demons, then share in the fun of slaughter with our fellow demon punishers. It's like we're Cookie Monster after he was sent to hell. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
pcorf Posted December 23, 2022 The fictional lives of many demonic creatures have been ended by me. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
BerserkerNoir Posted December 23, 2022 We only know how to tame our demons, we never kill them. As for Doom goes , id say more than 10 and less than a Billion. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Kristian Nebula Posted December 23, 2022 As Dr Evil would say, ONE BILLION (dollars). There's plenty of them left, as long as we have the interface to jump into their dimension at will ;) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
OliveTree Posted December 23, 2022 assuming an average of 50k per year, and having played doom since i was roughly 15, the math implies that its something like ~300k. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Amiga Angel Posted December 23, 2022 fragging demons is one thing but what about creating new ones? what about ripping (and tearing) existing demons limb from limb and then putting them together in new ways? like the baron of hell with arachnotron legs on realm 667 for example? 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
