Not a Christmas gift per se (but something I got for myself) but this thing is pretty fkin baller.

The thing on the top is a few 555 timers - top timer is used for automatic operation between 1 KHz and 1 MHz with the potentiometer, the middle is used to perform step-operation, and the bottom will eventually have some logic chips behind it to allow mode select between auto and step operation.  Helped me to realize just how much I've forgotten about electronics.

Got a Windows 11 tablet for cool art purposes, while also getting a stylus and keyboard for it.

 

Gonna use it instead of my shitty laptop for school xd.

 

Yes, it runs doom, probably TF2 too, I can see during lunch period or something.

 

I'll leave an update on my profile about whether it can run TF2, see you on the flip side.
