I mean... These are kinda old already. One is completed in the end of August and another one is completed in the end of September.

I just want that Doomers can play in these, 'cause it will be very sad for these maps to just gather some dust in the junkyard of my own history...

Just finished playing the map in UV. Found all secrets / 100% kills.


I liked all the different ambient sounds, particularly the bus playing techno in the middle of the map. That weird cat noise made me laugh, I have no idea how I triggered it though. I also loved the sound of the ice cracking under my feet when I walked on the river.

 

The start of the map was brutal, a lot of hit scanners and imps shooting at you. I liked it, it kept me on my toes and made me run around the level in search of health. After that frantic start the level is much more subdued, I liked the caco fight on the bridge.

 

Speaking of the bridge, I loved it. It's massive, definitely the main star of the map. I also really like going under the river for the secret, that felt really awesome when I found it. Overall the map is really well detailed with a gorgeous scenery and an ass kicking start. Well done !

Thanks to @sandwedge for detailed playthrough! I decided to fix some things with small & humble update:

(*) Removed the cliff under blue keycard. Its enemies and armor bonuses were moved to the other place.

(*) Made proper script after stepping in into "yellow" zone, so you not gonna avoid your skully friends!

(*) Added "ForceYBillBoard" & "NotAutoAimed" flags to the pine tree actor, so it gonna look & behave more properly now.

 

Yes, it isn't much, but was made for good. Oh... Some things can't be seen only by your own eyes, I guess.

Yes. Thankfully, Google.Drive supports a several "versions" of the same file, so link in OP-post not changed, but file itself are new with these changes.

I think you're very talented and every map I've played by you has been a good experience. My gripes with this are usual UDMF gripes, like sniping one reventant out of the way.. I just don't tend to play doom like this often so I am kind of oblivious to challenges like that, I always expect 'if it can shoot at me I can shoot at it' ranges from vanilla.

Excellent sound design, lots of love and attention paid to the secrets (the ones I could find). The audiovisual presentation is top notch. I hope you keep building stuff and sharing it, and yeah, community project foibles aside, the maps are forever, so I am very glad you weren't dissuading from finishing this one up. 

I don't have a lot of feedback, this was one of the more together single UDMF maps I've played recently. Very inspiring!
