NiTROACTiVE Posted December 31, 2022 (edited) Not too long ago this year, I decided to make a new 32 map megawad, as it is my biggest Doom WAD I decided to make since Illuminatus. It's an unofficial sequel to TNT: Revilution (or at least, this could be one of many timelines), and I have plenty of cool ideas for this new megawad. It is of course made for the TNT.WAD IWAD, and it will be made to be vanilla compatible. It will also have new textures and flats, including some textures from Hexen 2. I will include music from the Doom IWADs, as well as some music from Duke Nukem 3D. I will make updates to this thread when necessary, and I will upload the WAD to Doomworld's /idgames when it's done. Progress so Far: 9 out of 32 maps done (8/30 normal maps, 1/2 secret maps) [31.25% Done] The story so far... Spoiler With the virtual Icon of Sin gone, the military fleets of Earth come and pick you up to send you back home. However, before they arrived, there was one last ditch effort from the demons of Hell with one last big ship and a few smaller ones. This would lead to a grand space war between the military fleets of Earth and Hell. Sometime after picking you up after that last war, a strange signal was picked up from one of the demon fleets that crashed somewhere onto Earth's moon, and one of the US fleets decided to investigate. There, they found three treasures, four orbs in the colors of red, yellow, green, and blue that had a diameter of 18 inches. They took those treasures to Earth for the American government to investigate. Some time later, the Egyptian government caught wind, and gained huge interest in these treasures. Not too long ago before, new temples and tombs were found all around Giza, which contain new secrets of ancient Egypt. When ambassadors of Egypt explained the potential of these treasures for one of the new tombs, and the governments of both countries decided to make a collaboration effort. This would eventually be dubbed, The Eternity Project. A group of archeologists went to the tomb of a newly discovered king named Nezemab in Giza. This tomb had plenty of tricks and traps, but the group eventually made it to the main area. There were three spots to place the treasures, which if placed, could bring eternal peace to the world. So they placed the orbs into their proper places, and at first, nothing seemed to happen. Then, the four orbs glowed, and so did the hieroglyphs all over the room. It seemed eternal peace would come. But, of course, something went horribly wrong. The place shook, and out of a wall came an angry spirit. The sprit was of course Nezemab, and he spoke in the ancient Egyptain language, then in Arabic, and then in English. He said that he shall release the demons of hell onto the Earth. And thus, demons start to appear around Giza, and eventually Cario, and then all over Egypt. Eventually, a strange tomb appears somewhere in the US, which also becomes a source for demon spawn. Surprise, surprise, another demonic invasion on Earth has begun. It turns out that Nezemab is not a newly discovered ancient Egyptian king, but a crazy cult leader. Once again, it's time for you to take out the demons, which shouldn't be too hard, since you've done this many before. You shall start in the US, then go to Egypt, and then, Hell. Also, can anyone please make recolors of the flats NFBRWN01 and NFBRWN02 (both from the Useful Flats Texture Pack) based on the textures N_BNGN01, N_BNGR01, and N_BNTN01 (both from the Recolored Doom Texture Pack)? I would like a "rust" variant of the NFBRWN02 recolors for N_BNGN01 and N_BNGR01, as no "rust" variant is needed for N_BNTN01. I also included the original BROWN1 texture from the original Doom game so you could have a better idea of what I would like. 2/13/2023 Edit: Never mind.
