Anyways, here's dumping of some things I've done over those 8 months, shall we?: New name! Since the old one was pretty shit (POSTAL was always 3D technically, and I think this portrays it's going to be a brand new experience more) (also I like moderately long game subtitles xd) Pretty much the only recorded showcase I have of the new game play I've made, enemy AI courtesy of Nomakh Thunder (HFE monsters) https://streamable.com/a7upg5 Proto-New weapon sprites (the focal length is fucked beyond belief, that's going to change of course) (also the enemy sprites were made before I knew what an anti-aliasing was so that's why they also look not too good, that's also going to change of course) Barrels (inaccurate since I fucked up how the flying ones look and also I decided to add fire later but ignore that) (also placeholder sprites from Running With Chainsaws I'll replace with my own) and showcase of the heavily devart-ed Home/Truck stop hybrid https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1083945368686968943/1132382012712419439/Gzdoom-4-9-0-Windows-64Bit_2023.07.22_-_11.32.08.01-1.mp4 ...and that's actually really all I have to show at the moment, I've spent a lot of this time to learn mapping and how to create one that's fun to play and actually good game design (most of it not going to much use since I found out I don't want literally just doom like levels in the TC campaign but besides the point xd), and only got back to it recently. katherinecode Posted January 13 (edited) Wow, it's been a year since the project released it's first "demo" (I don't consider it much akin to what the project is currently but it was still a demo) hasn't it? Well, some days after technically, and some months after it actually began, but we ignore that. I should say something here after nearly 5 months of silence shouldn't I? Well I've been working on the project throughout those months when I can of course, I just don't publicly talk about it a lot (at least on Doomworld, I post progress on random Discord servers tbh lol), and I will dump what I have shown on said random Discord servers. - A look at the new art for the project Spoiler -contains a slightly older idle sprite (slightly brighter compared to current) -placeholders -placeholders everywhere - Random assortment of videos Is that all I did, no, but it's the stuff I think is worth showing really, so yeah.
