You can download games for off-line play, and even if a game is de-listed, you can still install and play it. I was wary of a digital store back in 2004 when it first launched, but I can honestly say I've never had any issues with Steam. This happened to me recently. I had bought Crysis some time ago, but recently tried to play it and it kept telling me that my CD-KEY was invalid. Turns out they removed Crysis from the Steam store altogether and now there's the remastered version instead (which I heard is based on a console port). Even though I can still download it, it sucks that EA went the extra mile of breaking the game keys, but oh well. Other than that, I don't remember this happening in any other occasion and I have been using the platform since 2011, so I don't really think much of it other than maybe being careful about purchasing EA games. 0 Share this post Link to post
