RastaManGames Posted January 4, 2023 * Insert Joke About H-Doom... * Without any jokes, try out "Deadly Bricks"! It was made specially for "Brutal Doom". And also, I guess, "Dragon Sector (The ReMake)" too. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Like Dance on the Water. And ofcourse, the search: 9 Quote Share this post Link to post
CFWMagic Posted January 4, 2023 (edited) My personal preference: - Back To Saturn X, both episodes, preferably Fast. Though hold off on UV+ if you're going Fast because UV+Fast archviles are going to fuck you up. Do UV-Fast first and see how that goes. - Valiant. Works surprisingly well with it. And BD has it's own arachnorb which is commented out but can be re-added to alter Valiant's arachnorbs. You won't be getting valiant's Pyroknights/Cyberbarons though. Death exit portals don't always work, though. - Eviternity, everything except the first episode works just fine. First episode will have some cosmetic fuck-ups. Death-exit portals between episodes are liable to kill you without letting you finish the level though. - Hell Ground. A one episode pack, but each map is very expansive. The assault rifle and railgun shine the most here because of that. - Doom 64 retribution. It piggybacks off Doom 2 monsters so you can quite easily plug BD into it. You might need to do some minor adjustments if you want only BD monsters, similar to valiant, otherwise you'll have a few classic monsters in the mix (mostly nightmare imps) - Japanese Community Project (JPCP) which works flawlessly with BD and doesn't require any faffing about. The wide variety in between maps plays well with the expanded BD arsenal. Edited January 4, 2023 by CFWMagic 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

BigBoy91 Posted January 4, 2023 Maps of Chaos! You'll have to cheese quite a bit to get through it all, but isn't that what playing Brutal Doom is all about? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Egyptian Guardian Posted March 27, 2023 Anomaly Report is a homage to classic doom wads from the 90's and the gameplay is identical to them balance wise. Highly recommend that one. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
