Thoughts on Crash being in new Doom/Quake?

But the Quake 3 character doesn't look like a Ripley or Vasquez.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against a Ripley or Vasquez-like character as a new protagonist for a Doom or Quake game, but then just introduce her as a new character, not as Crash from Q3.

I’m not talking about visually I meant personality wise. There’s no way she’d be like that photo if she’s a hardened marine.

I have never cared enough to put much thought into it, but if she is Doomguy's instructor presumably older with a thinner/gaunt face and some possible scarring since it is likely she has survived some kind of combat/engagements.
