Well I've been working on my universal hi-res pack for Doom and Smooth Doom. Mountains of work unfortunately, despite the huge variety of tools like cupscale AI, gimp resynthesizer (nice texture restoration tool!) and lots other, it still must be done by hand, yeah lots of redrawing. My computer is a 4gb ram toaster but runs this surprisingly well EDIT: I've been sick for quite a bit recently and seeing the "this is a popular post" thingy on this post is an absolute sight for sore eyes ^_^ While I'm at it, I'll give a quick update as to where this project is going: I've got a few weapons done and dusted in magicavoxel ranging from pistols to shotguns to a minigun and plasma railgun, but I'll mainly stick to touching up the map for now :) Edited May 20, 2023 by DELTA256 16 Share this post Link to post

DΞLTΛ Posted May 16, 2023 (edited) tiny little update to my game. Once the map's finished I'll add brightmaps. Then models for weapons, the player, enemies, objects, etc. EDIT: turns out the "build" sector lighting option conks up the lighting, I had to switch to "dark" which only makes things slightly brighter whilst keeping that nice darkness that I want from this game.
