nice little (polished!) map. looks more like Duke Nukem texture wise though. Doom has to look like Doom says the OCD inside of me ;)

 

@thelamp I dont know why the rocket launcher played you that hard, the box would just lower for me hitting that big switch(edit: i think its a walkable line on the chain gunner pads)

I ended up talking to eduardo about it on discord, it's cause I loaded the level in -cl2. he didn't have Boom in the description at the time I played haha! Small details, big consequences. I made it thru anyways so no harm done

Hey Eduardo! Had a quick run through on GZDoom and had a blast! I'd say the most fun you can have in a sewer! The layout is well-done, as well as the detailing. I really appreciate the lighting on the first box you see in the first screenshot you shared. There is a few texture mismatches in the water, some of the areas are green instead of brown, probably because of a poor diet but for everywhere else, the texturing is spot on! Keep up the great work Edz!

One thing to note: running it through DSDA, which is a boom compatible Sourceport, causes this error! This can be fixed by going into the TEXTURE1 lump in the wad and deleting SPACE-SK from the texture and patch lists if you choose to do so!

Ah awesome, thanks ZeMystic. I'm still gettin used to the idea of using DSDA! All works now, thanks for the heads up, also about the green slime. Too much demonic spinach, ya know. :p

In the computer station with the zombies there’s a computer wall with a candle in front of it to signify a secret. Give it a press and some stairs raise. :)

Strange, GZDoom (4.10 & 4.8.2) couldn't start the map on my system. The errors are:

Script error, "waffleV1.3.wad:MAPINFO" line 5:
Unknown property 'hub' found in map definition

Execution could not continue.
Bad PNAMES and/or texture directory:
PNAMES has 1535 entries, but
W_192 wants to use entry 1536.

EDIT: only the first version works, 1.2 and 1.3 have the same errors.

hi! i encountered the same error [novarain] mentioned above for map version [1.3] via [gzdoom 4.10]. [dsda-doom 0.25.2] works though. opening via [ultimate doom builder] reveals the error [skybox creation failed. sky1 property is missing from the mapinfo map definition]. tq.

Oh goodness! I think I had "hub" in the mapinfo as a leftover from when it was a previous creation and I intended moving between maps. I'll fiddle around and update stuff. I see that V 1.2 didn't even have the sky1 called in mapinfo, what a dingus. Thanks peeps.
