Johnny Cruelty Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) The concept Doom 2 In Song only is a project that aims to create doom maps based on the song titles used for doom 2 maps, for example, Map23 - Bye Bye American Pie could be based on a giant pie as a battlefield, or Map29 - Getting Too Tense should be something that may be TOO tense. The original deadline for this wad was August 1st, 2023, which was expanded. Submissions were closed in November 9th. Packing of the wad is under development. Guidelines Maps must be Boom (Doom2) format. - All the maps should use the music the title is (for example map01 should use the midi D_RUNNIN). All the maps should not be very short You can map more than 1 map but each person participating in this project can only do two maps. This is for the sake of variety. Anyone is welcome. Is this correct? ok so here is some clear context yes we are making maps based off music titles the reason why some doom 1 map songs are here is because some of them were used in plutonia and are supposed to replace the doom 2 songs that were reused in later levels... because having three maps titled "Dave D Taylors Blues" is confusing and yes you must use the midi of the map title 1 Share this post Link to post
