Yep. Warning heeded, will crack on with mapping, these months were a bit busy for me but that doesn't excuse my lack of updates. Sorry. Will attempt to get a map done asap as I have the concept ready, just have to map it out.

As someone who really hates slaughter maps I actually enjoyed it a lot.

Is there a lore reason you start inside a secret?

I would suggest lowering the monster count on hard a bit and making it harder across the board with some damaging floors, obstacles, etc.

Yes. go around to the stairs and open the blue door from the other side and stand on it. Then shoot the flesh eye and hop onto the rising platform.

Thank goodness it wasn't complicated to progress like the last one. The first part of the gameplay wasn't too bad but the ending escalated quickly I just ran through it that part was kind of fun but the exit is very confusing probably

Thanks for the Run! Glad it was a breath of fresh air for you after the Science Facility/Prison that was Evil Incarnate... A pallet cleanser of slaughter; my first true slaughter map, some good ideas for future iterations.

 

Map has co-op starts up to 4 all difficulties and DM Pickups and exclusive starts. DWANGO guys, try it out eh?

So... I couldn't bear seeing this wonderful idea for a project get so few submissions after such a long time, so I decided to make another map.
This one's based on "In The Dark", and would fit perfectly in the Map 24 slot. It is a bit tougher than my other map, but that was on purpose.

Honestly, I didn't even really plan on making it, but the gimmick was something I had wanted to give a go for quite some time, and since this project was the best possible time to try it out, I'd have been an idiot not to do just that!

I've playtested the map myself and everything works as it should but it'd be neat to get some feedback on difficulty and such. And yes, I know the last quarter of the map is confusing, that's the point :P You're quite literally left in the dark.

Also, is it possible to give the maps custom names, so we don't just have stuff like "At Doom's Gate (1)" and "At Doom's Gate (2)"?
Because if yes, then I'd love to title this map "Silhouette Trivia", and my other submission would be titled "Stalking Through the Ages".

Dude, I thought I had broken the map at first, that is SO CLEVER! I'm in love with the idea! I'm genuinely envious that I didn't come up with that :D
And the beginning made me think that it was just a funny haha map because you're going from one level to the next level which is right across the room, but no!
Absolutely marvellous.

Bit of an ammo and health shortage, but I guess that's what happens when you clip out of bounds in the wrong areas...
