I don't know about endgame and I can't check right now, but I'll take a look at home. I think it might refer to Sweet Little Dead Bunny. 

 

endgame is a fan name for the doom ii text screen soundtrack i think, you see it labeled as such on youtube videos.

That song has an actual name though. "Read Me While Listening To This". It's alluded to in the lump name (D_READ_M), but for whatever reason the full name was never put in anything official (closest I've seen was "Read Me") so a lot of people assumed it didn't have a name until the source code leak.

Yeah, but I think the creator of this project misreferred it.

Oh yeah, is this project even still going anywhere? It's hard to check for updates because Johnny doesn't update his post on the first page. I'd like to play the finished version but, well, when could I even expect to do that?

Since I've been taking care of the packing of the WAD for D2ISO and Amalgoom, and this is closed for submissions and finished in terms of new maps, I've been learning a lot of things in the other project before I come back to this. I apologize for the delay but I think people will understand that this is a lot for one person to do at once. Still, I'd rather come back to this with a stronger skillset and polish things up really well than release something lackluster. I hope you and other mappers undestand the delay. I'll ask for some help later for this too, but I'm pretty overwhelemed at the moment.

I'm not blaming you whatsoever, I get that it's taking a while and submissions are closed. There's just no estimate for when it'll be out and Johnny's post still says the project ended in August. I'm not expecting anything, it'd just be nice for the main page to say something along the lines of "We'll release this in January".
Because right now it just kinda fizzled out and appears to be completely dead. I know that's not the case, but I'm not sure if everyone else does, too.
