Hello everyone,

Thought I would create my thread here to keep track of an ongoing and adapting creative project.
It consists of a per level (or per part) marathon where I play level remakes for Doom 1 (EP 1-3), Doom 2, and Final Doom using the mod
Live Through Doom.
 

Doom 1:

  • (Completed) Episode 1: Outbreak of Evil (Simple playthroughs, Basic Gameplay)
  • (In-Progress) Episode 2: Frontier of Death (Narratives, NO HUD introduced)
  • (Not Started) Episode 3: Circles of Hell
     

Doom 2: (Not Started)

  • MAP01-32 (Will most likely be in parts)
     

Final Doom: (Not Started)

  • TNT: Evilution
  • The Plutonia Experiment


Personal Rules:

  1. No Save-scumming, period. No Exceptions. (Softlocks included)
  2. Must play with maximum enemy counts. (Demon Hunter, UV)
  3. If Mod Options change, I must update the description of that video as well.
  4. The series cannot fragment. Progression must be linear. (No doing Episode 1 and Episode 2 the same time)


What is Live Through Doom?

  • A survival horror GZDoom mod that has you staked against the forces of Hell, but this was before the legend of the Doom Slayer began.
  • Your just Doomguy, a regular marine that has to scrape and claw his way through the hellish nightmare of an other-dimensional invasion.
  • Gather or craft for resources like the health, armor, or ammo as each little bit improves your chances at survival.
  • Gameplay is slow, but aggression is your friend. Use it wisely.

 

LiTDoom Default Mod Options: (Can change per video, see descriptions.)

  • Class: Survivalist
  • Base Difficulty: Demon Hunter (Max Spawns, UV)
  • Ammo Spawns: Scavenger *** (6 max)
  • Armor Spawns: Skinny dip in the dead * (3 max)
  • Medical Spawns: Blood Marathon ** (4 max)
  • Damage Taken: 100%
  • Damage Inflicted: 130%
  • Monster Spawns: LiTDoom Default (Custom enemies, Armor)
  • Projectile Velocity Multi.: 1.2
  • Equipment Loss Chances: Low
  • Firearms degradation: on
  • Realistic Reload: on
  • No instant healing items: on
  • Poisonous trites: on
  • Poisonous nukage: on
  • 100% Kills Reward: optional
  • Post-apocalypse bonuses: Rare armor boxes; soul crystals
