@Xerenogan I can’t open the ODS file you uploaded. Could it be converted to Excel format ? @Doomlover77

The releases should have both ods and xlsx file versions. Last I checked, Excel should be able to open ods files as well.
Which file are you trying to open and what is the error you're getting?

Note: If you're trying to use the latest version from codeberg, the pictures are separated from the spreadsheet so they can be tracked. If you open that version, there will be data but no pics.
If that is the case, you need to open the ods file with an archive manager like engrandpa, gzip, or 7zip (anything that can handle zip archives) and place the "Pictures" folder into it. Then it'll have  all the main text and pics. Hope this helps. @Doomlover77

Good news folks, version 1.6 is here!
List of major changes:

  • All the Cacowards up to 2022 are on the map list, complete with title pics.
  • All Doomer Board Projects are on the map list (up to 57)
  • Map-list is once again in a sortable state, if you're into that.

Thanks to @reaction for the help with the doomer boards project entries.

Links updated in OP.

Thanks for the update, and for sharing this with us in the first place. I have my own (very cumbersome) ways of keeping track of my wads, on top of using hobomaster22's excellent Doom Launcher, but this is such a nicely organized way to keep track of "notable wads that I've played" out of the more chaotic "all maps that I've played" that I have elsewhere. Are you planning on making any more major changes or is 1.6 as likely to be "final" (at least until new Cacowards/CPs get released) as it can be?

No problem. I'm glad at least a few people are getting some use from it. Funnily enough this started life as one of those very chaotic lists. I'm happy with how it turned out.

At this point, it's fairly final. I don't have anything major planned. The only thing that I might do at some point (other than adding the next cacowards, or CPs) is add more maps from the existing checklists to the map-list (if there's demand for it). Nothing one couldn't easily copy/paste to the end of active copies.

That being said, what I'm working on now is something like a stand-alone version of Doom-Launchers database functionality without the .NET dependency. I needed to learn SQL sooner or later anyway. I know I could just fork it, but this is just a fun thing that some people might like.

If anything, the spreadsheet as it is makes it very easy to enter into a database. :)
I gotta get some sleep now, it's been a long day, and tomorrow is going to be longer. Take care folks!

Minor update. Nothing major. If are already using version 1.6, most of these can be added to your existing copy if you want.

  • fix ratings column, change pictograms to unicode, closes #7 and #10
  • add doom64 wad name
  • add puss series to master-list
  • add puss series to checklist and tracker
  • minor cleanup of coloring in checklists
  • Update the notes on top 100 maps.

Not updating links in op as this is an optional bugfix release. Also this is in odt format only. Should work in excel.
Here it is: wad-scorecard-v1.7.zip

Cheers!

edit: To clarify my previous post, I am not abandoning wad-scorecard. I'm using it as a base for a separate project.

This is outstanding work - thank you for sharing it with the community! Would you accept a PR adding the Master Levels to the preseasoned version?

Hello again everyone, new release!

Got some cool new changes.

  • Merged pull request from @mikeday adding master levels
  • Added navigation buttons for better user experience
  • Normalized styles to handle major formatting changes
  • Made art uniform across both versions to prevent corruption errors
  • Added outlining to the main page.

Links and pics updated in op.

Note: While the ods and excel formats are both included, the new navigation buttons do not work with excel.

Have a great day folks!
