DFF Posted February 11 Alrighty, here's Map12: Wood5 Despite having a much clearer memory of this map as opposed to some others, this was a rather hard map to recreate from memory. The multiple branching paths and height variation made recalling the layout very difficult, and in truth I had to peak at the original map once or twice only because I got to a point where my geometry completely did not align with how the map would play out (I knew once i made it, that it was wrong and would not work, so i needed to re-align myself to at least get the flow correct and not super incorrect). I still made quite a few memory judgement calls though, like i remember the yellow key but never knew what it did since the original door was unmarked. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Engired Posted April 2 I am hopefully back to try to do the final stages; I need MAP03 and MAP13 done, but by the end of today I promise I'll get a finished build. This project will not be cancelled without me saying so by the way, and I really do need to stop going on hiatuses (!!), but this project is still active. Map13 is now open as it looks like the person making the map hasn't visited this website since February 17th. However, @noob_killer012345678, if you wish to continue, your map takes priority, and any submitted maps for MAP13 will be added as secret levels instead. As usual! Engired Posted April 2 I re downloaded and essentially had to re compile the whole wad so hopefully it still works. This is mainly because I want to make sure it's actually up to date, because just re doing it gives me a much higher chance of not making a mistake. I have to play through the whole wad, and I'll update if anything is important. I also have to do the titles which I may get done, but I might also not by today. Keep fighting, keep killing, keep going through the demons until you find one that works. Oh, and don’t forget to keep living too. C3: You’ve based and battered your way into the Devil-Hive. Your mission becomes search-and-destroy for the evil Gatekeeper whose numerous offsprings are cascading into Earth. He’s bad, but you know someone who’s even worse! You grin evilly and check your gear as you prepare to give the demons hell of your own making. C4: The gatekeeper’s evil face is splattered all over the place. His destroyed body forms an inverse portal that sucks in the last of the prototype particle accelerators. You won. The hell is going back to pounding the evil dead folks instead of the good living ones. I could still use one or two of these though when I compile the text into the project though! I'll compile it later today, and start work on the release. Music is still open, and I am aware of some bugs that I'll need to fix, but the rest of the work is on my side. I'll attempt to release this by the weekend. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
