Crispy DOOM error not registered version

So I am trying to play the 1993 release of DOOM not The Ultimate DOOM but I want to run a mod. When I try Crispy DOOM it says that I do not have the registered version

but when I load the same WAD in GzDOOM with the mod It says DOOM registered on the top, so I am confused. So basically I want to play a mod on Crispy DOOM with the 1993 DOOM WAD. BTW it is the 1.2 release of the game. Also the mod works with Crispy DOOM on the Ultimate DOOM  but not the OG version. Can somebody help me with this ?

Are you sure you have a legit v1.2 iwad? That error gets thrown if the iwad is missing certain lumps. Does it have the same file size and hash shown here?

No it is 4208 kb not 10,399,316 so if I don't have the real version how/where do I get it?

Sounds like you have the shareware version. The full game can be purchased from Steam or GOG.

Just grab the Classic Bundle off Steam and save yourself the headache. You have $20 to spare, right?

You can create a 1.2 IWAD from a Ultimate Doom IWAD using the patches and procedures found here: https://github.com/Doom-Utils/iwad-patches

No, sorry. I have the DVD version for Steam, never tried to use earlier builds than 1.9 in the 'new age' era.

Thanks every one I did find the issue. My mod was causing the problem so I edited it in SLADE and now it is working. :)
