Amiga Mod support are a neat lil' and surprisingly unused feature that

plenty o' source ports utilize but the community barely uses.

While I have been unsuccessful in running a community project before,

I'd like to try again with modules used in OpenMPT, Screamtracker, etc.

The goal is to create a unique sounding arrangement in which people can compare

to the original midis and may find superior, or maybe more nostalgic.

E2M2 EXAMPLE e2m2demo.zip

You may use a genre that fits within the style of the map the original

midi was used for, ( example : Untitled but more Orchestral,

Satanic, or Gothic for e3m1, more random or fast-paced in e2m9 )

You may not create an exact replica to the song you are covering,

you should add onto it as the 3DO port did with its OST.

Keep the filetype to a 4 voice .mod (module) file, to keep

compatibility with most source ports.

Don't steal a module from the mod archive, or steal a module

at all, because that is dumb, dumb, & dumber.

Hi @openxt i see that your CP does not have the ammount of users you pretend. Maybe a little less ambitious, and only 1 episode replacement will fit better. Its only a suggestion, Hope it helps

I feel like this would be a unique community project / wad, if I have to make it myself entirely myself, I can, but I'd like to keep it as a community projects for now, and the whole soundtrack replacement thing is similar to the "Doom 2 from Memory cp with the custom soundtrack, though this allows you to take your own spin on it, add onto stuff, and on the module format. Also btw, I'm not really pretending how many slots are open? There are 41 total slots and 2 of them are taken by me, leaving 39 open slots.

Hi, I think @FEDEX meant "intend" instead of "pretend."

Yeah, you're probably right, I can wait for more people to participate, after all the .mid or .mus file is more popular than the .mod

Sorry for the bump, but what's the status of this project? It's a cool idea, I'd like to see it happen. I can do tracker music, although I'm pretty slow when it comes to composing :p
