It's too easy with BFG. Although... perhaps you are right. Maybe I'll add it to the map later >:)

This looks really great! It really reminds me my years on Doom 3 with its atmosphere.

Even though it is quite a simple (no pun, or...) and symmetric map, since you remained very true to the original, you did a nice job with texturing and some architecture.

 

Perhaps, I feel like you could add a proper entrance instead of having the player already inside the "death square".
