ACS and Slade on Linux

WildWoodsmith

Question

Hi everybody.  I'm on Pop_OS!, and have the flatpak version of Slade running, trying to get it set up to compile ACS scripts.  I've looked all over the place and can't find an answer on how to do this.  The DRDTeam repository seems like it's way out of date, and I can't add it since it's unsigned or whatever.  I downloaded ACC 1.59 from here (https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=76771 ), and from I'm not sure what to do.  Slade doesn't see the executable, although I can point it to the folder for the other included files.  Should it even be asking for an executable, since I'm not on Windows?  What do I need to do here?

Make sure you've downloaded the Linux executable rather than Windows.

I did.  I tried both the x86 and x64.  The "ACC" executable doesn't show up in the settings window, although the .acs files all do.

The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with Slade being a flatpak. Should I just compile it and ACC from the source code?  Also, I downloaded the Windows version out of curiosity, and the .exe file is recognized by Slade (though obviously it gives an error)

EDIT:  Okay, it works.  acc.sh was in my /app/bin folder, I just had to point Slade THERE instead of the folder with the .acs files. The problem was I'm dumb, apparently.
