Dantosking Posted March 3, 2023 (edited) Hello everybody! I'm glad to release my own project with a very long buildtime. It's a special psx doom tribute with some extra stuff on secret maps. A forgotten chapter's story started around autumn of 2010. Me and my cousin Seifer just began to create some simple wads (I made not only whitemare 2 map05 as doomwiki tells xd). I am very huge fan of psx doom for a very long time. Before the first release I found Threshold of Pain by John Gourley (alias scalliano) and felt a real extra inspiration. Dexiaz Posted March 5, 2023 Doom 64 fans will like this (@Immorpher @Nevander ?) There are secret maps in this project, and one of them: Yeah, it changes all monsters and weapons to Doom 64 visuals, but only for this map. After beating this level all weapons and monsters (and textures) are back to classic Doom visuals. Cool feature so far, I don't remember such in wads at all. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post

It happened already at MAP01, but I can't be sure about the rest. Might need to test further on to see if that's the case as well. EDIT: in fact could not resist adding these to the list of maps which ConsolUX themes itself as PSX for, except that for secret one it will theme as N64.
