All the while YOU, the sweet doe-eyed masses, get to DONATE your MONEY to CHARITY! That’s right, we decided to be altruistic and encourage you to send the Anxiety and Depression Association of America dollar dollar bills all in support of improving mental health for those in need! Is an almost-finished map meant for a project that's bound to take another year to finish fine?

Well.. I did playtest those wads by Myolden AND make the logos. ALSO, I do a whole lot of getting onto people’s pizzas. I don’t tolerate bad taste. Folks only hate pineapple one pizza because they’re conformist bandwagoners. True deep web dark-intellectuals like myself enjoy choosing the finely crafted taste of a delectable Hawaiian when selecting pizza flavors 🧐

While I disagree with you about pizza on principal alone I do find you delicious on a good ham steak with brown sugar sprinkled on it and some buttery fried egg noodles on the side and I find myself agreeing with you (having never opened a map editor myself) that play testing is the single most valuable contribution some one can make. Come to think of it whats with his name? Myolden... sounds like some prehistoric 70 year old that was probably alive back in 93 when the game came out and couldnt understand the perfectly valid political leanings of the millenial generation. So yeah... kick his ass. 😝

Wow, what a night! We raised $845.69 for the Anxiety & Depression Association of America, blowing past our initial goal of $100 before the mapping even started. I want to send a huge, huge thank you to everyone who came out last night and donated, chatted, or just hung out and watched the stream. This whole thing went better than any of us could have hoped, and we're all very proud of this community and it's ability to come together for a good cause.

I'd also like to thank our team who came together and made all of this happen.

Our awesome hosts Crowb4r and DWG did a fantastic job putting the stream together. They hosted, did MC duties, and compiled all of the stream overlay stuff for us so we didn't have to do any of the actual hard work of making this whole thing run. And run it did! Without them this would have been a complete shit show. 

Our judges @Death Bear, @Jark, and @Zero the Red provided thoughtful critiques of the maps and were a blast to hang out with during the process of mapping. Though their integrity may be compromised by being paid off to vote for my competitor, I'll look the other way and congratulate them anyway on a job well done.

Our special guest @MtPain27 was a delight to have, even though he was only able to stay for a part of the stream. Having the Dean of Doom on to play through our maps and give his thoughts was a real treat. Technical difficulties with sharing his screen aside this was an awesome experience for us and we really appreciate you taking the time to come by and help out our event.

And finally, my competitor @BluePineapple72, who I have nothing good to say about.

I'm kidding.

Blue and I have been working together for quite a while now and it's always a good time to come together and make something happen. He does a lot of work to make the Pineapple Under The Sea Speedmapping series happen, and this stream was just another example of his passion for this 30 year old game and the community that surrounds it. 

Thanks again to you all for supporting this event. Hopefully we can make it happen again soon!
