Xerenogan Posted March 16, 2023 (edited) Hiya folks, I saw that there was some windows batch files in the intro topic for demo submissions (the one by @Maribo), but I haven't seen any for Linux or Mac. I went ahead and had a little fun writing some scripts for automating demo recording, and a bonus one for playing back demos. There are five scripts here(really three). Two simple ones that duplicate the functionality of the batch scripts from the intro topic. Preset for the two recommended engines, crispy-doom and dsda-doom. Two simple playback scripts that takes the name of the demo name as an argument. One more advanced script that allows you to set different file path variables if you want it tailored to how you have things organized. They are bash scripts, so they should work fine on Mac and Linux. For Mac, depending on which version you're using you may need to change the shebang from bash to zsh. Anyway, here it is.demo-bashScripts-(mac,linux).zip edit: slight update , linked to new release. I forgot to change the echos to the right engine. Maribo Posted March 21, 2023 Cool, thanks. These look pretty solid, so I'll be adding them to the OP. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
