[gzdoom][WIP] grot-inc: grabbag of themes with a focus on atmosphere

14 maps at the moment, varied themes. Most are probably a bit on the easy side.

 

I've been working on some of these maps since my doom heydays as Alfred. Some reworkings of deathmatch maps into coop/single player. some stuff i've reused for other projects such as my ODAM TC. The first map focuses on the gameplay loop ODAM used, kill everything to advance. It's a big map though so it has a FTS(exit) button down a random street so you can leave.

 

My focus for this was just to make something I thought was cool using lots of modern gzdoom features.

 

There's places I need to add more detail but it's in a place to impress right now I think :)

 

Changelog: additional models for maps 1-5 map06 and 07 have begun detailing phase.

Feel like it's improper forum etiquette to bump your own posts for some reason. ah well whatever. check out the changes, used a lot of simple low poly models to retain that doomy feel. >>> DOWNLOAD <<<

I love Dawn of Reality. It is and always will be compatible with mods since that's how I enjoy Doom.

 

Not sure what Doomcute is but maybe my spiderwebs are neat lol. :]
