Doom Returns status update: still alive!

Received a few PMs about this lately, so wanted to post a status update: Doom Returns is alive! The final episode, Episode 3: Descent into Darkness, will be released in 2023. We've been working hard on it and are about 75% finished.

In case you didn't know, your website is unviewable for me and probably a whole lot of

other peeps. I'm running SeaMonkey version 2.53.15 (based on Mozilla Firefox). The

newest version is only 2.53.16 Beta 1 so I don't think I should be viewing an error that

looks like the one pictured:

Thanks. We’ll look into it. Not sure what’s wrong. It works fine for us. We use Wix to create the site and just use the most basic features, so no idea why it wouldn’t work for some people.

We just downloaded SeaMonkey and tried it, and we get the same message as you. According to Wix, these are the supported browsers:

What browser are you using?

 

Wix recommends clearing your browser cache and cookies and trying again. https://support.wix.com/en/article/live-site-error-error-403-forbidden

We just downloaded Opera (Windows x64), and the site works fine for us (no VPN).

1. What OS are you on?
2. Are you using VPN?

(Not sure if those even make a difference regarding site access. Not experts in this area.)
