Dopaminecloud Posted March 22, 2023 No one actually said this, I just wanted to make a hard doom 1 map. I balanced the difficulty around it being just hard enough for me to mess up occasionally at every part. I did decide to implement difficulties this time, I hope it softens the map enough for all to enjoy. But feel encouraged to try your shot at UV! Boom format but only tested with GZdoom - I was having fun with the dynamic lights, map may look a bit dim without them as a result. LadyMistDragon Posted March 23, 2023 Ok, this was cool! I love the cavern aesthetic, even if I was cursing you for the "Siege" situation at the beginning. I had to rewind a few times before establishing a foothold and I have to wonder if it's worth it to have the Cyberdemon infight with the far Cacos but I usually try to rush through these things because I've given myself a job to play every new wad that either seems unique somehow or is competently done. lmd_dpoom1east.zip 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Though initially crafted because I wanted to put together my own doom 1 episode wad, I realized I was going overboard with this one so I'm not sure if it has place in such a thing haha. The other 4 maps made for it so far are much more traditional and I'd feel bad to spike the difficulty like that, even as a finale. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
