About your txt in map 09, it's not your imagination. The archvile sector where you teleport in first has a hurt floor which tics every 32 tics. Receiving damage gets you unstuck from post-teleporter stuck condition, which lasts 18 tics. So when you are close to the hurt floor tic timing you will only be stuck until a specific in-game time and it does not matter if your avj was several tics faster.

 

This is also the reason getting 4 seconds uv-max run is so fucked. The hurt floor timing aligns in such a way that you are always unstuck from first tp at (iirc) 3.66 if you made it in time and you cannot save any time at the beginning of the run as you will never be fast enough for the previous hurt floor tic (unlike NM, in your demo you received damage immediately after landing around 2.7x thus getting unstuck faster). In result you can only save time in the ending for uv-max which gives you a margin of about 3 tics and some of those tics are probably not feasible to get non-tas.

 

Although I think there is something else going on as well, as I've seen some strange 1-tic timing changes that I don't know how to explain.

 

Btw many thanks to @4shockblast and @snotface for explaining this stuff to me in discord yesterday and studying demos in xdre. I might have not explained it entirely accurately but maybe someone can correct me where I'm wrong.

Map01 UV-Speed in 1.40

I was browsing DSDA and i saw hop.wad, i saw that there were 2 demos with one tic difference on map 01 and i wanted to try it without even seeing a demo 
to get 1.40 you need to do quickstart + fall right on the death exit platform, i guess the other people have fallen first on the 2 platform and then 
on the death exit, you lose 1/2 tics for doing that.
