Vertical Portal (57 Sector Set Portal) UDMF

Hi guys.

 

I am trying to create a vertical portal between two rooms.

 

The error that occurs is even though I can see the lower room. When I jump into the hole I can't go through the portal.

 

I thought it would be a general bug (maybe due to map size or other factors) but I have created another portal in a parallel room and it works fine.

 

Do you know what could be the problem?

Upload your map because of analyze. Without it, it's just guess work.

Can you fly up through it?

 

Make sure:

 - the floor/ceiling heights in the two rooms are correct

 - the anchors are correct

 - the portal sizes are the same in both rooms

 - the type is correct (is it set as a visual only portal?) (https://zdoom.org/wiki/Sector_SetPortal#Types) - you probably want type=6

Though your vid shows the other vertical portal looks just fine...
