Description:

After making few UDMF maps I decided to try out something bit more basic. So I made this map during the last couple of days.

It's your typical tech base kind of map... I guess there are demons and stuff.

100% Playthrough

Seeing as how your last project made its way right into my favorites folder Im going to have to run this after work today

Thank you for your comment. If I may ask, have you checked the updated version of that map set? I added a new secret level to it a while back.

This was a great map to blast through, with a real banger of a midi. Sector 125 has a damage flag, probably a mistake, but no other problems in Crispy Doom.

Thanks for mentioning this, fixed it.

Also, I finally figured out how to play pwads though DOSBox and this wad runs on it. So I guess this map is a proper vanilla map then.

Wow, kind of a basic run 'n gun but the nasty surprises were very much kind of appreciated! Like the trap before the red key. I wondered if we were expected to fight off the nobles with the weapons on hand for a second. I was actually seriously tempted to do this with a run-n-gun mod because that would've been PERFECT advertisment for this! but nawwww. It does suck because GZDoom is still the most popular port for casual Doomers but....whatever.

Video below.

Finally got a second to play this one and man, your maps are fun as hell!! Just a straight forward clear out this facility map. I love levels that make me feel like an exterminator sent in to clean up an infestation of demons so that humans can get back to doing whatever it is they do in all these techbases. Threw this in the folder with Demons Ripped My Flesh and will definately revisit somewhere down the line. Thanks for making this and I cant wait to play what you cook up next!

It feels like some oldschool fun map i don't think anyone would not like....

Love how you create superb but simple layout and battles...especially like the ideas like backpack in a remote and no secret area, absence of  SSG focusing on Classic single barrel shotgun,  which also reminds me pinkies are rather strong monsters and it can create a lot of challenge for player

here is second attempt uvmax with 100% kills and secrets record using prboom+ 2.6 cl9

Thank you for your kind words. I'm currently working on a sequel for Demon Ripped My Flesh (might go for a 20 map megawad this time) and I'm probably going to participate in this years RAMP.

In the meantime have you checked my first released map?

Incredibly fun, spicy map that keeps you on your toes. My only gripe is the texture work is a little dull, but everything else from the map's layout, level progression and frantic combat made for a fun time. Awesome stuff!

Thanks for the playthrough. Now about the visuals, I made this map in couple of days so I didn't really put any effort in the visual design. I suppose visuals aren't really my strong suite, but I think I have been improving.

Also that Hell Knight wasn't stuck, he appears in the map's second secret.

This level was a way too overpopulated with enemies, as for me.

No, it wasn't that sad like some levels of "Chillax.WAD", but sometimes these big hordes of enemies that is condensed in these little closets just looks lazy & boring.

There was some interesting ideas in the layout itself (some secrets was interesting to explore (and I think that I missed one very easily)), but some places of this map was too complex, so it gave me a little "headache" with finding out where do I need to proceed next.

With this, I can't say too much about it. There was rare occurrences of misplaced FLATs and misaligned WALLs, but beside that, this is classic tech-base map.

P.S.: This MIDI may be from "FreeMIDI", but damned ContentID system from YouTube still doesn't like that at all...
