**Frantik Rejects 2** (46 new FFA/duel maps for Doom 2!)

Hello again, everyone!     :D

 

 

Frantik Rejects 2 is a 46 map pack of boom-compatible deathmatch maps from various projects of mine that I hadn't yet finished. I decided to combine them all together into one oversized megaWAD!

 

All maps should play well in duel or 3-4 player FFA. These levels are intended to be played with respawning items. Weapon Stay should also be on. Nojump and nocrouch are forced in MAPINFO.

 

This collection of 46 boom compatible levels use Otex1.1. + Doom 2's default textures. Maps are designed to be fast and easy to navigate. This would work alright for a larger party game too, as the maps are quite large on average.

Maps 1 through 15 are leftovers from FDM1, FDM2, and Havok DM that I renovated.

 

Maps 16 through 41 are from a project that me and @spwnSH4Rk were working on. I would make a bare layout, and he would texture it. Unfortunately, we lost a lot of our data - and the textured layouts were lost. Luckily, I still had the original layouts. These maps make up the majority of this megaWAD. Big thanks to him for the work he did, even if it ended up not being in this WAD. These are very recently made levels of mine.

 

Map 42 is from rd.'s '2-3 weapons only thread' on DW, but renovated now to function like a normal DM map.

 

Maps 43 through 45 are DM conversions of an unreleased CTF pack I've been working on w/ Mr. Pred and Endless.

 

Map 46 was released by itself as 'Stoned Pharaoh' in 2021. For completion's sake, I've included this too.

Hi Arrow! Stupid question.. : no one of those maps allow SP support? (I mean a couple of monsters inside) :D Some screenshots are really really cool, and i can't stop imagining some great battles with good monsters placements

No SP support with this one, but that could definitely be something to explore in the future. Could be cool to do something that is SP and DM, you're right.

 

Bourgeois DM does this,  might be cool to do something similar eventually.
