qdash Posted March 20, 2017 Very underrated band. Real top tier '70 hard rock! 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Ed Posted March 21, 2017 @qdash Budgie rocks! We were on a Budgie kick at work after hearing "Napoleon Bona Parts 1 & 2" on the Pandora station. Their music is just as deserving of classic rock radio airspace just as much as Deep Purple or Sabbath's tunes. Another under-rated proto-metal jam - this song had my attention at "On the back of a giant bird!" 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Bauul Posted March 21, 2017 I've gotten hooked on the mass of "If Spit Out The Bone was performed by..." covers making the rounds online at the moment. This is probably my current favorite. It's amazing how much like a classic Slayer song they got it to sound. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Dragonfly Posted March 21, 2017 @cyan0s1s - Thanks for showing me that. A new band added to my 'bands to check out' list. :) Today I've been reliving metalcore of days past. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Nine Inch Heels Posted March 21, 2017 A little bit of chill, a little bit of drive, some added depth, and enough air to breathe. Proper rollage. Hits me in all the right places. ;-) Also, quite a bit of an oldschool tune as well in terms of how it's made. Turn it up, if you have a good subwoofer, and hate your neighbours. :phttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxyWgnYgISE 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Remilia Scarlet Posted March 22, 2017 I have absolutely no idea why I have this stuck in my head today. I don't even listen to Johnny Cash... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Dragonfly Posted March 22, 2017 (edited) Never was a big fan of Biffy Clyro, but their "The Vertigo of Bliss" album was pretty good. Shame none of their songs quite lived up to the album's opener, "Bodies In Flight". Edited March 22, 2017 by Dragonfly Edit: I dun typo'd 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
