It's a short album, but it's a good one. It was a nice return to punk after they went off and hung out with the goth kids for two decades or so. My favorite song is "Terrible People" which starts at 6:20 in the video.

I just discovered these guys, Dance with the Dead, a hybrid of 80s synthesizers and soulful/melodic heavy metal with a vibe from John Carpenter horror movies. Just blew my balls off. Seriously the best new band I've heard. Check this out.

Yeah, their music is awesome. I've listened to their first three albums, and it is really good stuff.

One of my favourite bands is Noise Metal band Lightning Bolt. Consisting of Brian Gibson and Brian Chippendale, this duo put out so much noise with a battered drumkit, a bass guitar with a legion of pedals, and speakerbox vocals. They have a bunch of other acts too, most notably Black Pus In His Hilarious Attic, and one of the Brians is responsible for the music in the indie game Thumper.

 

Great workout music, I'll say!
