I recently found a copy of the Violent Femmes discography that I bought on my iPhone 4 in 2013 that I had copied to an old HDD, and it still works. So I'm listening to the Violent Femmes again.

been listening to a bunch of Candlemass stuff. this kinda slow epic-doom-power metal is ultra-earnest and ultra-riffy and'd make sense as midi files. their early albums are classic, their reunion albums are great (but sometimes too fast? i want this shit under 100bpm), side projects like Krux and Abstrakt Algebra are great, etc. doom metal rules autumn
