I'm a huge music nerd in general but found that electronic music was a huge blindspot for me. With stuff like metal, hip hop, indie, folk, punk, etc. I know the subgenres and I know what I like and dislike. I decided to remedy that by listening to a lot of the bigger names and seeing what I enjoy. So far, I love Jungle, Ambient Drum and Bass, Trip Hop, and IDM - despite IDM having the dumbest fucking name imaginable.

 

 If there's any huge electronic music fans I'd absolutely love some suggestions.

I prefer electronic music from the 70’s (Tangerine dream, Klaus Schulze…)

But you can also listen to music from free labels, such as Eg0cide, Chase records or even Degelite and Kirill Platonkin’s works.
