Wadmodder Shalton Posted April 27, 2023 We are aware alot of Doom 1 and 2's textures came from a majority of sources, including the MediaClips CDs from Aris Entertainment, the toys used to create the Chaingun and BFG, the Stephen King book Nighmares in the Sky for the Gargoyle switches, and possibly other we don't know about. However, the two IWADs of Final Doom, TNT Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment probably have unknown texture sources that are lost to time. Here are a few sources that I could find for both TNT and Plutonia. Memento Mori's BRICK and WOOD textures being used to create Plutonia's brick and wood textures. Textures from Paul Turnbull's WAD Mayan Temple being reused in TNT Evilution's MAP23 and MAP31 STONE7 from the ImageCELs CDs being used as STONEW1 in TNT, in turn recycled from Paul Turnbull's Mayan Temple Those are a few sources that I could find for both Final Doom IWADs (TNT and Plutonia) as the others are likely lost to time, unless other CD ROM and Texture Library sources were used. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Individualised Posted April 27, 2023 I don't consider other .WADs to be sources as it's likely they were derived from something else originally before they were even in the .WADs. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
