Look, all I’m going to say before moving on is I never needed help figuring out how to adjust GZDoom settings, and I have a feeling that a lot of other people didn’t either. I’ve always found them to be pretty self explanatory. Confusing and/or overwhelming to navigate? Debatable, but nowhere near difficult to determine what a setting does.

 

If I did need help, I would’ve attempted to adjust the settings myself first and then requested help after the fact if things went wrong or weren’t doing what I expected them to do. 
 

The documentation has been provided for you if you’re really having trouble understanding the settings to tune the game to a more vanilla-like experience.

Also pretty much this. I have always tried figuring things out on my own, and i apply the same mindset at work. A new procedure i know nothing about? Well, let me tinker first and if all else fails, only then i will raise my hand.

 

But with PP, its like even the idea to tinker is already a burden in and of itself..

But that's just it man , I've been trying for 3 days now tweaking GZ'S settings , and nothing works . so I thought "I should ask around on Doomworld , someone theres bound to know".

Then I suggest reading the links that Redneckerz provided. The wiki link will help you better understand the settings. The forum post he linked walks you through setting it up via a text file. Just follow the steps, and when you get to the last step before the code just copy and paste those lines of code into the file. You don’t have to type it out manually.

EDIT: Also, apparently this is the throwaway account of a guy who previously went as @G-FORCE and @J-Force1989. According to other community members, he harassed a member who made an LZ-Doom Launcher because he couldn't get it to work (it does).
