Hello. I have returned from the very beginning of the thread to give you the first three maps of this;

Keep in mind that this is a work in progress, so many things (such as the music) are prone to change.

UDMF, so take that as you will.

Not built for continuous play, yet is still compatible.

Ill request another one if you dont mind.  This is a map I made for CP that Im not sure will be done any time soon.  Its not like my usual stuff so it might be a bonus, its a more "normal" techbase thats in ruins/hell.  Should be easy and a short romp, slightly more run and gun, I think the last room is the only room that locks you in completely.  

 

Comp level 4

uses TNT.wad as IWAD

MAP26, IDCLEV26 etc.  "Corpsicle"

When I tested it I died at the cyber and went "oh well there are only 2 monsters left so it should be fine" THE LAST FRICKING PINKY WAS THE PROBLEM...

I still see your at it lamp. Aren't you worried about getting burn out from doing this? Well i mean your a lamp so i think changing the light bulb would fix it lol.

probably gonna go on hiatus soon to focus more on the community project I'm running, but for now I'm gonna keep going!

First off congrats on doing a community project. I wish i could start one but at the moment i'm still pre occupied with my Ultimate Doom wad. Second i can understand taking a hiadus to focus on this.

If you're still doing this I would request Map02 "fresh bones" of the same wad I had earlier.  

 

The fights shouldn't be as ball busting.  The last arena is a little claustrophobic but it's still more free form and holding down on the plasma usually works pretty easy.  Plus I'm not a sadist that gives out too little health imo. 

 

Progression is interesting I think and choose your own path at the beginning.

 

My par time, which I should have said my last submission, not full play time, is around 12 minutes.

Hello,

 

I have finished the last map for now of Voice in the Abyss. I have also made a few changes to map 3, I have also added in a new monster and make a few color changes to the hell Knight and plan to change the Barons. so if you have the time can you test out these to map? Still working on the sky hope to get them fixes soon.

"Message to the lamp"

 

{working on johnny cruelty's community project; doom 2: in song only..

 

i got map 31. its boom, got nothing tricky, no HOM at present. placeholder exits for your sanity. the skullswitchmid is a place holder for areas of future development.

 maps named: evil incarnate (after the song name)

 

would love a playtest from you on camera, as im using gzdoom and not boom or woof to test and would like first hand experience of bugs and Bs.

 

Nice work on the steadily increasing youtube subcount; i account for 2 of them.

 

P.S. We need to take up a collection and get you a bottle of scotch or something for your dedication and mental anguish. Cheers Amigo...}

I really cannot complain that I did not get any feedback yet, but if you don't mind, I would really love to also hear your thoughts and see your playthrough of my map. It is very nice to hear the different thoughts and see different plays.

 

 

It's in Boom format and I tested it with GZDoom and PrBoom+.

Thanks for testing out the map it help out so much. It might be hard to tell but the darker cybers are the ones with 1000hp so that's why they died easer. My plan is to split this up into two chapters with 4 maps each. This one and a more red orange one so it has a nice contrast. The final room is kind of a preview of what's to come.
