How to make an episode playable after an episode has been beaten

Hello i'd like to know how to make an episode playable after the entire game has been beaten, I know that doom 64 was able to do it and it was probably made possible in slade, so may I have guidance.

This is not a feature Doom has in any capacity. Doom64s remaster had this as a very specifically coded menu that isn't even moddable (that in hindsight we maybe shouldn't have done, given I swear some people don't know the episode is there sometimes).

We experimented in this in GZDoom with Reelism 2, but it’s a pretty massive hack that doesn’t quite work right (the lists are only loaded once, IIRC, so the unlock may not appear until the engine restarts under certain circumstances), that we’ve since replaced for the next version with an even bigger, scarier hack.

The easiest way would be to have a hub map replacing the episode selection, and then use world scope variables to control whether the doors to the next episode are open.
