I'll be honest, it's quite a toughie to figure out; i'm a fan of lots of different shows, the Early Seasons of The Simpsons is one of those examples, I also like Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad, Clerks Animated, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Eric Andre Show, and oddly enough; M.A.S.H and Svengoolie!

Lots of great ones. I think I have to go with Steins;Gate.

Though Breaking Bad (not seen BCS), Madoka Magica, Avatar the Last Airbender, and FMA 2003 all come to mind as well. (Don't know how much these forums hate weebs or not, so I can't wait to see if I angered somebody by liking foreign cartoons)

My absolute favourites are Mythbusters (stupid fun and educational), Time Team (British archaeology show where you see digs happen, great banter among the team) and my newest favourite, The Repair Shop, which is another British show where people bring in damaged things that might not be worth much but matter a lot to them, and a team of experts restores them. The team seem like the nicest bunch of people in the world, and the work they can do is extraordinary. Dull torn paintings spring back to life, broken ceramics put back together so well you can't even see the damage, furniture similarly resurrected, and more besides. It's all very sweet and provides great insight into history and the relevant crafts.

I watch almost no scripted TV these days. I like The Rookie mostly due to the actors elevating sometimes weak material with great performances. It's a good case of diversity done right. There was a great sci-fi show called Killjoys a few years I really enjoyed. Umbrella Academy is delightfully nuts. Loved Supernatural even when the writing was weak again due to the actors. Macgyver and Dukes of Hazard were childhood favourites. I still have and use the pocket knife my Dad got me when I was like 9 because I was so obsessed with Macgyver. Loved Nash Bridges, Highlander, and the Adventures of Brisco County Jr when I was a teenager. Stargate SG1 was pretty good, with Richard Dean Anderson's elite level mastery of the art of sarcasm being a highlight. Early Simpsons, around seasons 3 - 8, was gold. Futurama was great. Unsolved Mysteries. Blackadder and Monty Python are of course the stuff of legend. No doubt I am forgetting a few things but that's all that comes to mind right now.

Aqua teen hunger force due stupidness and hilarious, also carl is the best character on adult swim ever existed. Shame latin american dub goes discontinued since 2008 and the movie dub are in the lost media right now.

I wouldn't say that I have one favorite show, I have a bunch that I always go back to but picking one that is the be all end all is rather difficult for me but here are some of the ones that I enjoy,

  • Lost

  • X-Files

  • Watchmen

  • Golden Girls

  • Frasier

  • The Mighty Boosh

  • It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

  • Garth Marenghi's Darkplace

  • Batman The Animated Series

  • Cowboy Bebop

  • You're The Worst

  • Star Trek TOS

  • Star Trek TNG

  • Star Trek DS9

  • Star Trek Voyager

And also every single one of the random NCIS spin offs. I absolutely love how over the top and ridiculous the storylines are on those shows, it must be a blast being a writer on those shows.

I watch NCIS sometimes as my lady likes it. I love how they have managed to stretch out the main show for 20 years lol. Some guy is random shot "oh yeah he was in the navy like 20 years ago so we need to investigate". Also NCIS LA made me realise how fucking good of an actor Gerald Mcraney is, who I only ever saw on Major Dad in the 80s or 90s or whenever it was, and random roles on other shows. I love how he manages to balance being absolutely 100% done with everyone's shit (and LA's) but then lets these little bits of genuine kindness slip out.

The actors on those shows are top notch in spite of the very silly storylines. Henry Ian Cusick is on NCIS Hawai'i now and it's amazing what he does with some of the more over the top lines they give him. Speaking of those shows, Hawai'i Five-0 is up there with them and has allot of amazing actors in it. Terry O'Quinn had a pretty long run on there, as well as Jorge Garcia and Danial Day Kim. It was like a Lost reunion lol.

Not my favorite TV show, but I did finish The Cosby Show spinoff A Different World today on my Amazon firestick. Tomorrow, I think I want to start watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show next, then maybe I will start a random Sci-Fi show after I finish that one.

Of course, how could I forget about Scrubs? Loved that show. John McGinley was so good. All the cast were. My favourite moment was actually Kelso though...

"Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy." Great line and great delivery. I also love the running gag of Kelso still calling Turk Turkleton after he called him that after getting drunk at his wedding.

I don't watch much TV really but show's I've enjoyed include Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Extra's, Life's Too Short, the Boys, Mighty Boosh, Ideal, Firefly, the Shield, I'm Alan Partridge and Last Man on Earth. As you can see mostly either comedies or movie-like shows, I loathe reality shows and time-fillers (oh with one expection : Missing in Alaska!, it's a hilarious time waster).

Crime dramas and crime shows (First 48, Forensic Files, etc) are what I watch normally, but two shows come to mind that I watched with a passion.

Eureka - SyFy show - kinda cheesey but had a great cast. Only last 5 seasons, but I loved every second.

Survivorman - Les Stroud is an absolute legend. This guy goes out into the wilderness and survives 7-10 days with very little equipment. Also does all his own filming.

Currently beauty and the geek.  Geek in Vegas says "I haven't been this excited since they announced the seventh star wars movie"

And the played up drama of someone confusing Africa and North America:

And this guy doesn't seem like much of a geek, just a dyed in the wool aussie... (If it's visible in your country)

It turned into Fear Factor in the later seasons, and they started getting fake geeks.  The revival is jut schmalzy woke-ness.  I hate hearing "You got this" every other sentence, it reminds me of the animated facebook greeting.  And they're too afraid to highlight anyones' geekiness or lack of intelligence much.  Now I'm starting to think of how I'd prepare one of the beauties for a doom gameplay mechanics quiz...

Beast Wars

I still remember that our School made a Sports Festival on a Saturday and the first Thing i thought of was of the Possibility to miss one Episode, i am not sure if we hadn't a programable VCR or if i was to young to do it right, but i missed it.

Damn you unnecessary Festival on a Weekend, DAMN YOU!

Star Gate

Love it, i like that the Plot actually evolves and Humanity could play Star Trek instead kf visiting Forests in Canada through Gates.

I have learned to rise my Brow beacuse of Tealk (i'll never be able to remember how to write the Name right)

Star Trek

I love the utopian Star Trek, i ever thought it is something Humanity should accomplish.

Seing by the current State of the World and how easily Poeple get intk very extreme ideologic Views, i think we're very far away and that we even need Incarnations of "Forces" (like the black Death) and Fable like Stories, to bring People near to Subjects that are too abstract for most Minds

Gargoyles

Incredible good

Ninja Turtles

Seen the 90s one and the CGI one, i really like them

The newest one seem bad

Turtles in Time, one of my alltime favorite Games ever.

Than also Sitcoms as according to Jim and others.

The first german Translation of Shin Chan was hilarious and very adult.

South Park, not forgetting.

Mandalorian, love it

Shows that i did not like are those that have a certain Formula of "Betrayal" and "Intrigues" in it.

So something as Rome and Game of Thrones.

Could came up with more, have seen way too much TV haha.

I really liked FUBAR and Tulsa King which are recent shows, definitely a fan of South Park and ATHF for years. I would say Band of Brothers is one of my favorite shows but it’s more like a mini series. Batman the Animated Series is great and still holds up. I would say a favorite show that use to play in reruns a lot was Hogan’s Heroes, though I have not watched it in about 20 years now so I only remember very specific moments and the characters. Of course love Star Trek, especially TNG and DS9, but the latest show (not STD) is quite good with Captain Pike. Really love Jess Bush as Christine Chapel.

Of course there’s way more shows I could list but those are ones off the top of my head right now.
