Your maps are in UDBF, the second map you opened is opened in Boom format.

They are different enough to need to be decided on creation, I never used SLADE editor, so I don't know how that works.

Is there a quick way to convert my wad?  Thanks for the quick reply you probably have an idea what confusion I had over this.  I have been studying oblige maps as a reference so I can get a feel for how the switches and keys work.

 

 

 

SOLVED -  Well not really,  I'm just going to get over it and learn to use UDMF lol

 

Thanks so much for letting me know what did this!  I thought I messed up some options someplace when reinstalling slade3 didn't change anything! =]
