What do you mean with Hunger Games WAD? What kind of experience would that entail? Because deathmatches that are a regular occurrence in the community could be considered Hunger Games. So then... are you after a cinematic experience like a campaign or just a megawad of sorts where you go through regular doomy type maps with a setting of real life locations that are actually just facades of impressive production value?

I picture a custom game mode where 16 players go the centre of the map without weapons whilst being ambushed. And after that, they need to go to specific hot zones to collect things, all the while the enemy roster gets stronger.

I was thinking of something based off of Mockingjay that's essentially a recreation of the story, with Doom and Wolfenstein type maps; But instead of fighting demons or nazis, you fight peacekeepers.

Like, as in the arena?

That could easily be done... Like the circular "clock" arena. Of course it wouldn't really work well in Vanilla but if using UDMF that'd work pretty well, and quite easily I'd imagine.

Or if you meant more RPG style, still UDMF, a lot more work, but doable.
