Chomperknight Posted May 26, 2023 I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty Zombies lately and one of the things they have is easter egg songs like you interact with 3 certain objects and once you interact with the 3rd object, a map's easter egg song would play. I'm wondering if you could do something similar to that in a Doom 2 wad, if so, how to do it? 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Al-Faris M Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) I think you can do that using MUSINFO if you're mapping using the Doom format, and it's supported by some modern ports like Prboom+. You can also use ACS, it has more flexibility when it comes to changing music, although I'm not experienced in ACS to know how. Edited May 27, 2023 by Al-Faris M 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Expand You do not need to include MusicChanger in a Decorate lump, in fact you are best off not including it, as it will not do anything in PrBoom+ and similar non-zdoom based ports, that don't support DECORATE to begin with. And for ZDoom based ports that do support Decorate, including that definition is still a bad idea and unnecessary as it is a built-in class that is always loaded, and including it with your mod's decorate could lead to problems and at best do nothing for it at all. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
